Yeah, the 3D was perfectly functional, it just wasnt needed.

I did get a bit choked up, Rickman is sublime during Snapes Memories, if you have read the books, you know what part I mean, if not then that is a potential spoiler.

***SPOILER ALERT***

I know they were never designer spectacles, but by "19 years later" you'd have thought the styles would have changed just a bit!

I wouldnt be a fan of the franchise,as i find a lot of the films somewhat "samey",but this was quite good.
The strength of the Potter series for me is some quite superb actors deivering very good performances across the board.
3 to 4 stars from me.
