Cowboys & Aliens
I like Cowboy films and Alien films, so I got two for the price of one. Not a bad film but yet again most of the good bits are in the trailer. If Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and Sam Rockwell were not in this film then it wouldn't have been worth watching. My young son pointed out to me that Sam Rockwell looks like Ned Flanders from the simpsons in this film. The action scenes are pretty good but nothing you haven't already seen.

I thought it was alright. Somewhere between Young Guns and Independence Day. The slimy monkey aliens reminded me of the crap newborn thing from the end of Alien Resurrection. 2/5

Awful GN adaptation that cr*pped all over the supposed source material. Sure, it looked pretty, but it felt really half-arsed, long and boring, which is surprising given the names in front of and behind the camera. Best thing about it was the weapon thing on Daniel Craig's wrist. 1.5/5
