Default Sam Worthington

Jeremy Renner: This seasons Sam Worthington?
This question [from another thread] is a nonsense. There is only ONE Sam Worthington and thank christ for him.
Who else brings not only consummate skill in acting, diversity with accents and verbal eloquence such as:

"The thing you find with any kind of sequel - you can do it or you can try to push yourself. And if it fails, at least you've failed successfully."

The rest might as well quit now.

Many types of awesome. Poor sod, strong like bull, thick like post.

I quite liked Worthington when he first shwoed up, reminded me of a young Crowe, then I saw him try to "proper" act in a silly film (Crass of the Titans) and then I saw some interviews, then I watched Avatar again....well, need I say more?

Renner? Um not given him much thought actually, hes just kinda there, he has a spongy face I dont quite trust, thats about it.

Sam Worthington isn't the new Keanu, he's the new Russell Crowe with the brain, charisma and talent removed. Crowe's worst day is still better than Sam under any circumstance.

Unfortunately for him, Sam is Sam on the screen, and when you have very little charisma off screen, then it aint likely to suddenly appear in front of a camera.

I think the films Sam takes on suit him. Throw away popcorn entertainment with effects or a story that could have any actor running around them. At least it's not Hayden Christensensensen.

He can't act for shit..but I think it was when he made his quote about failing successfully, with sequels that I realised he's so lovably dumb I can't dislike him.
I don't buy his films though. I haven't seen any of the Titans or Terminator Salvation. Seen some of his others.

For Sam, failing successfully is like falling with style.
and yes, he's better than Hayden Christensen.

Theres a shed in my Garden thats better than Hayden. I wonder, if it wasnt for the incoming Avatar franchise, would Worthington have a career in ten years time?

hey dude. We'll never know. But I think there is always a demand in Hollywood for macho Aussies..look how well the Hemsworths are doing. Of course they can probably act better than Sam, but who can't?
I've since watched Clash of the Titans and Terminator Salvation. Sam's accent slips randomly and I now expect this of him. But for some reason he makes me laugh so I don't mind him now.

Thats a very good question? Maybe my Cat. Or perhaps the weird man in a town near me that randomly drops to his knees to prey? Really, he does, doesn't matter if its the middle of the road.

I didn't think he was too bad in Terminator Salvation, I dont mean good, but perfectly servicable for the sort of film it was. Maybe he has just become a whipping boy who has said some fucking stupid things.
