The Avengers

I do feel sorry for everyone involved with the New Avengers (Not the proper New Avengers, the 70's reboot of the Avengers with Patrick MacNee etc) but that new superhero movie everyone is blathering on about.

It's had fanboys in a state of high excitement for months, even though its not scheduled for release until the 22nd century or something. It's all rather like the release of the new iPad. Tons of excitement, demands for its secrets to be revealed - and then a whole heap of trolling (you young people and your made up words...) when the unfortunate device is released. And the same will happen to the New Avengers.

It will probably end up like the later batman or spiderman movies where there are just far too many goodies or baddies to let any of them have enough screen time to grow and develop, and it will likely be thickly coated in CGI, under a murky soup of 3D. You'll be lucky to get a look at the actors at all under all that!

So, good luck New Avengers, more comic book fodder that should have stayed on paper...
