Superman Returns was a dreadfully ********** movie by any stretch of the imagination. Brandon Routh nailed what was always going to be an impossible job for most, good pacing, sharp dialogue, iconic set-pieces made powerful through wonderful special effects...this movie had it all. Few down points were mabye Kate Bosworth as Louis Lane and I never did like that Louis Lane would be able to carry Superman's baby...he is an alien. Anyhow, i lose track. What I am here about is that I have heard NOTHING talking of what for me is an inevitable sequel...please, please let it happen. Spiderman3! A new Hulk! Both absolute trash!

There was talk of a film called Man of Steel - it even made the cover of total film a couple of years ago - with a new actor and dark approach. Personally I think Chris Klein from American Pie would make a good caped crusader possibly with Mena Suvari as Lois Lane. He should do more action films as Rollerball 2 was under rated as an actioner. Maybe a film as The Rocks (Dwayne Johnsons) brother - but that might be pushing it.
