Adding Dolphin Tale. Heard a distinct sniffling coming from the couch when we watched last night. "Allergies, gosh these allergies..."

Like a few other people, I don't really cry at real life but movies and other fiction can make me well up really easily. I've shed a tear at loads of movies but some I can remember off the top of my head:
Up Toy Story 2 & 3 (Pixar really know how to push my buttons) Return of the King ("My friends, you kneel to no-one") The Lovely Bones (The closing monologue, not surprising here though as I sobbed uncontrollably for large chunks of the book). Deathly Hallows part 2 Star Trek (George Kirk's exit at the beginning of the film) Rabbit Hole Moulin Rouge Romeo + Juliet Elephant Beautiful Thing (The fairytale ending brings on tears of joy) Little Miss Sunshine (tears of sadness and then joy at different times) Pan's Labyrinth Loads more I'll probably remember later. |

I recently watched a really stupid Bruce Willis film called The Kid. I couldn't believe when I actually started crying in a scene where The Kid was told off by his dad in their front lawn. Stupid thing, but there you go.
Happy now? Seeing a good-looking man shed a tear? |

I cried at Bridge To Terabithia, I was unfamilar with the book so it hit me like a huge raw onion.
I cried at Requiem For A Dream too, mostly because of the adrenaline-rushing build up, and the ensuing emotionally intense 'release'. Never has a film gripped me as much as this one did, emotionally, to the point where it made me cry. I highly recommend it as a way of getting something off of your chest ![]() Not sure about the whole SPOILER procedure on these forums, but I may 'spoil' a few things for you about TDKR in my next little tidbit. More recently, I found myself nearly tearing up at TDKR, I don't know why but it started when Morgan Freeman was in the room getting flooded, and from that moment on I just got more and more emotional to the point where I really had to try hard not to cry when Michael Caine was tearing up himself on screen. Now that I think about it, I really can't remember the last time I've cried at anything other than a film. What does that say about my life ey. |

Ok, So my Turkish friends just made me watch a Turkish movie with English subtitles. I had no idea of the effect it would have on me. Never in my life would i have thought i would get jerky over a romantic film. But "Ask Tesadüfleri - Sever" is definitely a MUST see.... In my opinion, this movie definitely exceeded my expectations!

Loads of films have made me sniffle recently, I put it down to just being older and more soft, I cried watching Hellboy the other night when he buried his "dad" but the only film were I have ALWAYS had to stop myself has been Transformers: The Movie around the time Prime says "Do not grieve" and "Until all are one" and the music hits.
