Default Men in Black 3

Did we really need another Men in Black film, especially after the awful sequel. After watching this I can say no we didn't. Its better than the 2nd one but then that's not saying much. It adds nothing new to the trilogy and only raised a few chuckles. Brolin is the best one in it as he really does a great mimic of the young Tommy Lee Jones.

I didn't bother wasting money on the 3D version.

The consensus in most articles I read about the movie was that you wish for one of those neuralyzer-thingies so you forget you paid for a movie ticket. Considering the last one already bored me to tears, I won't bother.

I enjoyed it. Took my daughter, who loves the original. Saw it in IMAX 3D and had a good time.

The opening act was rather bleak and depressing, but the time jump from the Chrysler building was worth the IMAX ticket alone.

When it hits the 60's it finds it groove and Josh Brolin was good fun. Smith is on fine form. It's a sign that movies are getting really bad when Will Smith's shtick starts getting funny again. The new character (sorry, lazy review) who can see the outcomes of numerous timelines at once stole the film and the Andy Warhol sequence was a joy.

Barry Sonnenfelds very clean and precise visuals make for good 3D and are refreshing in a time where no one seems to be able to keep a camera steady.

Good fun, some nice gags, left with a smile. Job done.

I really enjoyed this, especially after the sequel, which was forgettable as I can't remember it. Definitely on a par with the first, quite a few laughs including Andy Warhol 'please kill me off' and Josh Brolin IS a younger Tommy Lee Jones. It did, for me anyway, tie it all up and I did shed a tear. Loved it, entertaining to say the least.

I didn't expect to but I actually enjoyed this. Brolin is perfect. The guy from Flight of the Conchords makes for a pretty disturbing villain too. So much better than the 2nd, the jokes in this installment are more hit than miss. Really quite good 3.5/5
