It was shocking and you really gotta wonder why he did it, rumours of inoperable brain cancer (I could understand this) but this was denied. He had it all, career, wife, children. What was going on in his head? People and life will constantly surprise you. RIP.

Okay so he's not a movie guy but some of his books have been made into films.
I was saddened to hear of the death of James Herbert. R.I.P. , thanks for the scares.

I bought about 10 of his books for my Kindle for between 59p and 90p each a few weeks ago. They're still cheap surprisingly.

I will never forget reading his book The rats, it was at the time I was working in Westminster and used to read it laying on the grass in Westminster Square. The book was about the rat infested tunnels running under where I was laying. Great book from a great writer. He will be sorely missed.
