Afterwards by Rosamund Lipton, (author of Sister) was quite good. Similiar who dunnit kind of thing and supernaturalish element.

Linsday Kelk's 'I Heart' books are quite trashy but rather enjoyable.

Into funny American ladies at the moment - Chelsea Handler, Sloane Crosley, Tina Fey, Jen Lancaster.

Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King. Bought it for Mrs Cat as a chrissie present 'cause I wanted to read it too. It contains several novellas, just on the first story so far, but as usual he hooks you from the first page. Mrs Cat gave it the paws up.

Just finished 'Reamde' by Neal Stephenson. It's a hell of a read! Criminals in the real world vs online cybercrime.

What are people currently reading? I'm reading Handling the Undead by the author of Let the Right One In. Very good so far. Just the thing while I wait for the next season of The Walking Dead.

I'm currently reading The Suspicions Of Mr. Witcher. A fact based story about the first notable detective case. Fascinating read.

Just bought a kindle. Quite when I'm going to read things on it between the piles of unread books in my house and my library addiction, but hey I thought it would be good for long train journeys. Currently filling it with the free classics.

Anyone read anything good lately? I'm currently on Freakonomics

I got George Romero's book of Dawn of the Dead for £2 in The Works. Not read it yet. Could be rubbish.
