There is a cool cinema in Amsterdam (east side) called Studio K, really nice and similar sort of atmosphere. last time i was there i was eating bread and alioli with a beer in the cinema, well chuffed!

It seems like a few people on here are from the Watford area, and yet nobody's mentioned the Rex in Berkhamstead?

Comfy chairs, lots of legroom, a bar/dining area downstairs, and its cheaper than a Vue to boot. Little less up to date with its films than the franchises but still a damn fine venue, damn fine. Maybe not the best in the world but hey.

I was never aware of so many cinemas that actually tried to make things nice and not just like the bloody VUE being 'extra' clever and giving you bean bag chairs.
