The avatars won't be switched on for a whle yet. Soz peeps. Something to do with a security breach on one of Future's other forums.

Nudge me again in a few weeks and I'll check again.

Rest assured I will remind you until we get them back. A forum without avatars is like a table without legs.

I don't get it. Surely the bandwith saved by a few people not using tiny pics as avs is minimal.

In all honesty, I don't think we'll be getting them back any time soon. But I don't think it has anything to do with bandwidth. They were taken down because of a security breach on another Future vBulletin Forum and the developers are too busy on other projects to fix the problem that would allow the avatars to be reinstated.

But I will keep trying...
