4 stars from Total Film... And what do you make of that beard?

I agree with the 4 stars.
Disregarding the creative license they took with the story (in reality the CIA was a junior partner to the Canadians in getting the hostages out, they did not stay at the embassy but employees of the Canadian embassy risked their lives harbouring them, etc.), I thought the movie was very well done and maintained tension even though I knew how the story was going to end. The only gripe I have is that I wish Ben Affleck would stop casting himself. While he wasn't bad in this one, I prefer him as a director, not an actor. |

Just seen it and thoroughly enjoyed it, very exciting, tense, funny and interesting (whether totally factual or not).
Definitely recommend this but please note this is not an action film, Chuck Norris is not going to burst through the windows and save the day. |

Agree with the 4 star review, this is absolutely my kind of film. Great actors telling a interesting story (with the bonus of it being a true one) with levels of tension ramped up.
And to answer Liz's question, I dig the beard. |

I dunno about 4 stars.
I thought it was OK. Just OK. Competently done.

I liked it. Ben Affleck is turning out to be quite impressive behind a camera.
