If you have a sky box hooked up to the interweb you can download complete series, like me
![]() But as far as favorite tv shows goes, they all seem to be HBO based, The Sopranos was great but some eps were a bit hit and miss, Game of Thrones was a real game changer in that everyone loves it, The Wire was great for series 1, 2 and 3 but sort of lost it's momentum in series 4 and doesn't seem to have caught up in series 5 either. Boardwalk Empire just goes from strength to strength, season 3 being particularly topsy turvy with it's "Woah!!! where did THAT come from!!!!" moments ![]() I also enjoyed Prison Break, although it did seem very far fetched at times, and although I didn't really get the who underlying theme, there were some touching moments in there, particularly in the last episode where everything came together. Lost I watched for the first series and then just gave up on it. And finally, for this post in any case, I've got to mention Friends and The Simpsons, even though they may not technically be everyones cup of tea, I can't say I've not seen at least 95% of the episodes and everyone of them can be watched again and again ![]() |

Ashamed to say I stuck with it. Imagine you're a Scientologist, and you've paid thousands of pounds for all the courses, and mortgaged your house for the group. Then you've cut off communication with your family, bankrupted yourself, gone to work at Scientology HQ to pay your Scientology fees, done their bullshit training over and over again, all of that... and at the end of it all, they tell you the Xenu story.
That is what watching the final episode of Lost was like. ![]() |

I watched them all apart from the final season. It just seemed to be dragging out far too much without any real explanations of anything. I read spoilers for each episode of the final season and based on that i'm pretty glad I gave up on it when I did.

Perhaps they will catch them up in season 5, I'd like to know what happened to Cutty and Randy. |

Ploughing through Mad Men at the moment (got about three seasons on my sky box). Brilliant show, but i want to start drinking, smoking and being inappropriate to women now.

I'm watching Twin Peaks again. Nothing on the telly will ever rival it.

I would actually agree though that season 3 contains the absolute highlight of the series - the penultimate episode. Anyone who's seen it should know what I mean... |
