I used to go to sneak previews every week. When they showed 'Shine' half of the people in attendance walked out. I'd like to know how many of those went back to see the movie once it got nominated for everything and the kitchen sink a few months later.

I see people walking out all the time. I wouldn't do it because even if I don't like a movie, I want to get the whole picture, but a lot of people don't see it that way.

I haven't walked out of a film for a long long time but if I had gone to see 'The Watch', I most definitely would have walked out around the half way point. Probably would have done with 'This is war' too. I had the luxury of switching the TV over instead.

The thread that keeps on giving. Long after stfudonny has died and moved on, it's still going.

Generally if I've paid to see a film on the big screen I'll sit it out no matter how bad. But I have fallen asleep a few times. Phantom Menace, Pirates of the Caribbean (the FIRST - I would never make the mistake of seeing one of those in a screen again) and Robin Hood. Dozed a bit during the last boring battle.

I can usually base a film on whether it is good or not by whether i fall asleep or not, all though this is bad, a cineworld card does make it a bit less guilty i suppose! Having said this i have only ever walked out once and that was because i got stuck right at the front to watch 'Paranormal Activity 4' and i just wanted to see it from a better angle so went out brought new tickets and watched it again!

That's not walking out because the movie is so bad though, is it? If that happened to me I'd have gone back to the ticket counter and said
"NO, I can't take these seats, they'll give me a bad neck." got a refund and gone to the next session.

Bollocks to paying twice for a load of pants like Paranormal ACTIVIA 4!

They've actually made four movies about doors closing in the night?

I have a Cine world card, there was no way I'd pay twice for such a poor film but i wanted to give it a try and the only way i could do that was to obviously see it again. I went straight out and got another set of tickets for no extra cost...I can see as many movies as many times as i want!
