I wondered if people can still remember the first computer or video game they ever played?
As a youngster in the late 1970's, I remember receiving an ATARI 2600 console for Christmas and, along with my brother and younger sister, playing first PACMAN and then COMBAT after setting it up. We then played THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, which was purchased as a Christmas gift for us. The first video game I played, during 1980, was in the entrance to my local ASDA store, which had two machines next to each other - GALAXIAN and SPACE INVADERS. While I constantly played the former, my brother became an expert on the latter. Happy days indeed! |

I remember getting an Atari 2600 around 1981 I guess. Can't remember the first game I played (probably Space Invaders) but I do remember my Dad getting all grumpy in the summer that I wasn't playing outside and actually went to the trouble of taking my Atari and the old B&W TV out into the garden! I remember spending a lot of time playing Phoenix.

Crash Bandicoot, the face of PlayStation and the best game ever made. I can remember when was the first time I've played it. I was about 8 and that was my first experience with gaming. To this day I have original copy of CB on my shelf.
