Is it only girls that watch this show? (..looking back at the rest of the thread). Mrs Cat has just started watching it, so I'm tagging along.

It was a guy who got me into it... doesn't strike me as exceptionally female-centric (is that a word?) but maybe as the central character is a girl its getting more female viewers.

No there is some men that watch it me and the girlfriend are hooked on this quality show!! My Nephew watches this too so that makes a few men out there watching this!!!!!! Roll on Jan 2011 for season 3!!

As per usual, I'm behind, and am only just in the process of watching Series 1. Not bad. Entertaining on the whole. Not enamoured with the eye candy though; never could stand Anna Paquin.

Yeah the eye candy is a complete washout! But the storylines more than make up for that!!
