well that's sold me. Leicester Sq is a fine cinema, also an expensive one, must've set you back a bit.

Baseketball

Seen before but felt like something light and juvenile. It still made me chuckle in the usual places. 3/5

It was free! Yay. Otherwise it would have cost a bloody fortune.

Default How To Train Your Dragon

Saw this at the weekend. Stunning animation, especially the flight sequences, and the storyline (although ever so slightly cheesy) worked well. The central relationship between Hiccup and Toothless was entirely belivable and props have to go to the animators again for the way they brought Tootless to life. I want one for Christmas!! 4.5/5

Default Bedazzled

I know what you're saying when you know you shouldn't have enjoyed this, caught it late one night on TV and found it be mildly diverting. Mind you I don't particularly rate the original Dudley Moore version, so I suppose I didn't have the level of expectation that other viewers may have had. Brendan Fraser is ideally suited to the role of the hapless lead, but one has to wonder what the producers were thinking when awarding the role of Satan to La Hurley. Overall entirely average, does what it says on the tin but no more. 2.5/5

Me too, I was even a bit "oh, is that it" about the cameo that everyone banged on about.

Paranormal Activity

I really enjoyed this, gave me the willies, first film to do that since I was ten and watched IT round a mates on our own. 4/5

It does make you wonder what happened with him on this one. I didnt even post a review I thought it was so bad (here is my reveiw; Its shit. 1/5) I find Gervais a bit of a smug twat, but he is very funny, does make you wonder what went wrong.

'How to train your Dragon' (3D)

Took the nipper, and was totally drawn in, the 3D works well without being obtrusive and the scenes between the dragon and the young lad as they begin to form their relationship are just gorgeous.

Ending felt a bit rushed in places though especially with the other kids.

Four stars!
