Just Go With It
Yeah I know you all hate Adam Sandler but I quite like most of his films, liked this one too. Jennifer Aniston is good in this and you get to see her in a bikini, she's still got it. |

Love and Other Drugs.
Good points. Nudey Anne Hathaway. Very nice. Bad points. What exactly IS this movie ? it strts as a rather good comedy, turns into a sort of documentary and then descends into a standard romance. Its all over the place and suffers for it. 2/5

Nearly turned it off halfway through. Like New Years Eve. You really look forward to and it looks amazing. However, it turns out to be dull and annoying and full of dickheads. Truly awful film and is a prime example of too much money spent on effects and very little thought to plot and character building. 2 out of 10.

rather strange, and it took 3 viewings to actually figure out what was what
would have been much better with a little label in the corner telling you what level they were in didn't really like it to be honest, and the rewatching to understand wasn't in the good way that rewatching the usual suspects got you thinking the film was better and better with each viewing individually the characters were great, other than leo being the same person he was in shutter island, not bad but seen it all before 3.5/5 |

One Day
Like many I really loved the book and followed the casting and filming of this with interest, but by the time it came to seeing it I had my expectations thankfully set quite low. It just does not do the book justice. The biggest problem is Anne Hathaway, it probably would have worked out fine if she'd just gone for a generic English accent (she sounded fine in Becoming Jane) but the Yorkshire accent is BAD. The rest of the casting is okayish, but the pacing really doesn't work for me, in squeezing 20 years into 2 hours things obviously had to go, but it just didn't work for me. Maybe it could have worked better as a tv mini series. On the plus side I thought the ageing of the characters was quite realistic. Still, always nice to see your home town looking pretty on film. |

Usually I don't like sequels because they are typically worse than the original. So it happened with this movie. But I decided to give it a try it, 'cause the first one was amazing. The beginning was very good ... Expecting a better then, but it never came ... I watched in vain for 1.5 hour hoping that something will happen. But nothing happened ... Oh, no that's a lie. What happened was that I started to yawn. I blame myself for that. I should have known better...

very good.
8 out of ten. Excellent acting, no expense spared in the costume and set department. Lots of cleavage, lots of extras, a thousand in the final battle sequence. beautifully directed. I recommend it. |

1/2 out of 5
It's total and utter pants and if it didn't have Tamer Hussein in the credits, it would be in the £1 bargain bin in Asda. So not worth wasting time watching. If you want to watch a film about the Rettendon Range Rover murders , Rise of the Footsoldier is a much better film to watch. Not to mention every other word seems to be some sort of profanity (not that I'm a prude, it just doesn't seem to have any relation to the tale being told) just seems to edge it further and further into the turkey market. The film is so terrible it seems that it couldn't even attract Danny Dyer ![]() |
