Name that Film

I may have been 10, or 8 or even as old as 12, but somewhere amongst the early 80's (or the late 70's) I watched a film on the telly that was about a blokes desire to race in F1.

Nothing strange about that you may think, but this one was, this one was stop motion "Wallace and Gromit" style and the only thing I can say for sure I remember about it is that there was a scene where he was burning rubber to get away and the tarmac peeled back because it was so hot.

I've been looking for this film now for ages and ages to prove to myself that I didn't dream it lol so please put my troubles at an end and tell me what it was called.

Hi folks - posting this question on behalf of a 67 year old friend, who's completely computer-phobic. He recalls seeing a film many years ago, loosely based around the Greek Amazonian Hippolyta, which was sub-titled although he can't remember what language was spoken - but he does clearly recall a scene where the names of the dead sailors aboard a ship which sunk, were read out. Any ideas? Anyone? He's a Shakespeare buff, so it can't be a Midsummer Nights' Dream.

Hi there, was wondering if I could get the help from anyone who may have seen a film my Dad can remember watching as a kid. I've been trying really hard to find it but have limited information, and would make a very cool present if I could manage to locate it. The film is a black & white cop thriller/comedy which may have been released between 1965 - 1970's. My dad remember's a black guy sitting in a chair, the chair tilting back and the guy dissapearing, then he comes back and says something like 'like this boss!' when he sits in the chair and dissapears again. If anyone can point me in the right direction as to what the title of this film is I would be very grateful. I'm really sorry I have no actor names as my Dad is awful at remembering who is who.

Saw the end of a black and white film 20yrs ago. With a little girl in bed holding either a small wooden horse or unicorn, and sea outside her bedroom. Never found out what the film was called anyone any ideas???i"ve looked everywhere probably made 1940"s. always thought I would see it again, not sure if this is the same film but there something about a little girl in an iron lung( must have got polio) these maybe 2 separate films any suggestions most welcome.

I don't remember well because I was really young, I'm almost sure that the movie is from the 80's... it was about a boy, like a teenager and he was involved in a game where he had to collect some cards (if I remember well, were cards) but there's some people after him and in some point he even loses an eye, and he gets obsessed with the game but everything goes back to normal when he finishes the game. I hope someone knows it...
