What Blu-ray have you bought this week?

Wild Target.
I really liked this film and got it cheap on BR but to be honest its not a huge improvement on the dvd and has piss poor extras. Not recommended, stick to the dvd.

Got two new ones this week, Pandorum with slipcase £5 from morrisons and the Twilight trilogy in steelcase £15 from cash regen, made up with both

Pandorum isn't too good a film. And the bluray isn't too special. I bought the bluray the week it came out and took it back the next day and traded it for two new release DVDs.

Actually Pandorum is awful. Its all over the place, derivative to the point of insulting, badly acted and shot almost totally in dimly lit sets so you can't see how bad the effects are.




I didn't like it much.

And Dennis Quaid's next big role after that was Legion. His CV gets more impressive with every film.

Ok I know this is a contraversial choice but I couldn't resist it.
Ive just bought the box set of the Fast And Furious movies ( 1-4) and Im REALLY looking forward to watching them on blu Ray with the surround sound turned right up.

I'll give a full review after watching.

I admit the first one is a bit of a guilty pleasure. It was one of the last films I ever bought on VHS.

Michelle Rodriguez negates any controversy my friend, lip curling, snarling sexy lady of awesome so she is, I was even tempted to watch 'Bloodrayne' when i heard she was in it.
