The Alan Wake advert is really getting on my nerves, it's forever dropping down in front of me so that I have to click on the X to get rid of it

He's a character in a game that I will now never buy, because I'm petty like that

Very sorry about the annoying Alan Wake ad, guys.

I've flagged it up to the TF team and asked whether it can be turned off on the Forum.

I'll let you know what they say...

I'm afraid that particular picture competition is long gone. They used to run it in the mag and then post the answers on the website. It hasn't been around for a while now. Sorry.

Cheers Lizzie baby, it really is annoying.....almost as annoying as Gemma Artertons annoying voice.

Is it just me...

or has the font on the site navigation bar at the top of the page got smaller? jeez it was already micro. also the Forum looks slightly squashed with more room for the fug ad at the side and less room for the content.

On the other hand, I am old and not known for my powers of observation./ So if I'm just imagining things pls disregard the above.
still I could swear everything looks more squashed.... *suspicious cat is suspicious*

Hey Morris,

The text on the nav bar at the top definitely seems smaller - not sure if they just changed the font or just taken the size down a bit but most definitely different.

I think you're right about the width of the page as well, as I'm now logged in as "Li".

I'll flag the latter up to Dan. They've probably been tinkering with the site a bit...

thanks Liz. I wondered if it was just me but was 80% sure it wasn't. also have you noticed when you are composing a post, the message box looks even smaller than usual? I'm not sure, it's always been small so maybe I'm imagining that one.
