The film is revealed upon arrival. Secret Cinema screen all genres and eras, bringing cult classics, golden oldies and exclusive preview screenings of eagerly anticipated upcoming releases. Surprising site-specific locations from five-star hotel car parks to working city farms are commandeered to evoke the spirit of the secret movie. Secret Cinema is now one of the largest Facebook film pages in the UK and is also on Twitter, fans come together through social networking sites and debate the previous events and try to guess what the next film might be. www.secretcinema.org. Recent Secret Cinema events in partnership with Windows phone have included a special Christmas screening of Bugsy Malone, when people took to the streets of a mocked up Lower East Side, before taking part in a real life splurge fight and Alien, where guests were given boiler suits and invited into a futuristic warehouse where Ridley Scott introduced the film.
