Easy tiger! I'd hardly call a genuine link that's 100% pertinent to the discussion (i.e. full of 'Hidden Gems') 'spam' or 'filler'.

Seeing as the link's been deleted the films that appeared in said article were:

My ones:

The Fall

Other guys:

Cheers for listing the film titles, ParagraphFilms. Just to second Kiba's post, this is definitely the way we prefer to do things... I'm pretty sure it has already been mentioned, but you can always include a link to your blog in your signature.

Love Dog Soldiers and The Descent. I also love David Cronenbergs version of the Dead Zone.

I going to weigh in with a real doozy:

12.01 - Straight to video classic from the mid 1990's with Martin Landau in a small role, honestly it's grrrrrreat.

Think Groundhog Day, but with the production values of an episode of Murder She Wrote and you're nearly there.

Please, someone just go and watch this film.

Default My hidden gem would be Jemima and Johnny

a lovely short from the 60s about 2 kids (one white, one black) in West London.

It was screened at the BFI yesterday (although I confess I watched the FA Cup final instead!)

Anyone seen it?

'Celia', Haunting Australian coming of age film. Got a DVD release fairly recently (finally).

Oh, and I second 'American Movie'. It's so good it even got referenced on Family Guy. Sadly, no R2 dvd available.

Bitter Moon
Good film. Very erotic and well acted. Plus it had a fairly original plot. Nice call.

Bitter Moon is a very patchy film and not Polanski at his best at all. Surprised that's one's come up to be honest.
