i'm already beginning to miss the old forum

it's not that i don't like this one, but it feels like a piece of my heart is missing :'(

ditto, buried. I wasn't sure that anyone who is relatively recent would understand, but I'm glad you do.

I never knew I'd miss the old place this much. Four years of calling a place home...what did I care if it didn't have shiny new this, or fancy new that.

It was home.


maybe it sounds melodramatic, but I feel when they took down the old forum they didn't just take the posts, they took the heart of the place.

I agree. There were a lot of good discussions lost when the old forum disappeared. But I guess it was a) too much hassle, and b) it would have been fairly impractical.
