Well my favourite game, one one of them of all time is Final Fantasy 7, so here goes who I think would make it happen!

Director : Alex Proyas

Screenwriter : Orci and Kurtzman (Given enough time to write a scriptm rather than a Bay whipped speed write as per Rotf)

Cloud : James Franco

Aerith : Marion Cotillard

Tifa : Michelle Monaghan

Barrett : Ving Rhames

Sephiroth : Christian Bale

Red XII : Ed Harris

Cid Highwind : Simon Pegg

Cait Sith : Peter Mullan

Yuffie : Emma Watson

Vincent : Henry Thomas

This fine ensemble would be of course contratced to a three film deal sprawling several extended cuts and fanboy offerings catering to my every whim.

I have come to the conclusion that the only man alive capable of playing Kratos in a possible God Of War movie would be Terry Crews.

Jesus Christ look at him there!

As for other possible adaptations, a Neveldine/Taylor version of No More Heroes would be pretty tasty indeed.

Goood choice Silly. He even looks like Kratos without makeup.

ugh. NO. Not in that voice and not with that face. You need someone who can do wry for Sephiroth. What about Jason Isaacs? Looks great with white flowing hair and able to do the sly wry eyebrow-arching baddie brilliantly.

Choices for Aerith and Tifa are good.

I struggled to think of a decent blonde actor who do the role justice to be honest, Ben Foster wa smy first thought, he's a great actor. I just thought Franco could bring a bit of intensity to it. Ethan hawke perhaps, but anyone I think of woould look naff as a platinum blonde, I think you'd have to take some artistic license with the hair there

Some swede perhaps, Skaarsgard junior, but he's about seven foot tall.

I just want to see Bale do more villainous roles, Isaacs is a game for a villain, but he'd just be Malfoy again with more wiggage wouldn't he? Di caprio as a baddie also would be nice for once.

Hawke is too old. Foster is not pretty enough. Nor is Skaarsgard Jnr. I mean he's good looking in a manly way but this is Cloud we're talking about! The prettiest fucking game char ever. He makes Lara Croft look like a dog.

Cloud needs to be: stunningly breathtakingly pretty, physically strong, fairly adrogenous and, let's be honest; bit of an emo drama queen. I stand by my choice of Ben Barnes. His turn in Dorian Gray shows he'd be more than capable, and his Narnia experience means he is handy with a sword.

You mean artistic license like casting a black guy as Thor, the Scandanavian God of Thunder? Too much license in this cat's opinion. Barnes looks good with floofy hair. Being blond won't make a lick of difference.

I'd like to see Bale put away his stupid voices and hammy over the top Method acting. He needs to pull his finger out and do something good for a change. Some humility and maturity wouldn't hurt either.

Maybe but I still think he'd be great. I mean Sephiroth is very Malfoy anyway. don't you think?

Dear god no.

Not at the Joss Whedon bit (though I'd hardly consider myself a fan) but the thought of Fallout as a film. They work wonderfully as games because they're ridiculously expansive with a narrative that develops as you wish it to. I've played Fallout 3 for about 40 hours and have done diddly squat in terms of central narrative, videogaming is the perfect format for it. If it had to be in any other form of visual medium then television would suit it best, but even then it would be too episodic, when what would work best is a constant sense of discovery with a dash of backtracking.

It's best suited towards videogaming, it isn't linear enough for film. Unless you want a 10 hour film.
