Behold my recent second hand hall courtesy of the nice second hand dealers of certain reputable online retailers.

'Deep Rising', 'The Relic', 'Mimic', 'Ghost Ship' and 'Deep Blue Sea'!

Solid 90s horror/creature features all five for under a tenner! Prepare to be annoyed by my reviews over the coming days!

Oh Saffron Burrows, you're going to die! CHOMP CHOMP!

Deep Blue Sea is awful. Ghost Ship is even worse except that opening scene. Mimic and The Relic are both definitely worth a watch both being good solid monster films. Deep Rising is fantastic. It's creatively the worst film of the bunch, but for pure brain dead enjoyment it's hard to beat.

Flesh and the Fiends & Island of Terror arrived safely in time for crimbo. I'm so relieved. I've got other stuff I'm waiting for, but they were the special ones.
Happy days.

STOP THE PRESS!

I have bough a full price DVD for the first time in over a year on it's release week. 'Scott Pilgrim vs The World', never saw it at the cinema and have been sucking the various geeky references over repeated viewings over the last few days.

Even Cera is tolerable, I want the soundtrack now.

The complete first series of Thundercats for £4. I'm the right age that I saw them all as a kid. Kicking off a marathon tonight, unless the first few episodes aren't what I remember.
