Just read in the latest Total Film magazine that the DVD version is going to be 12A, and the Blu-ray is 15 having the unseen version! I don't have a Blu-ray player and have no intention doing so either, so not happy about this.

Is it actually different versions of the film, or is it just deleted scenes etc pushing up the certificate?

Save your money, it's not even worth the time if they pay you to watch it.
I can't think of a single scene which would have been made better with more violence or acting or boredom so can't comment on why it's got a different rating. |

I just saw this yesterday (theatrical cut) and it was just so bad. The characters aren't fleshed out at all (dead kids are now nothing but cyphers), one key scene of rebellion plays out like a bad 90's stereotype and the less said about the action the better.
The only good thing about this movie is that it confirms older actors need more gigs NOW instead of being swept under the carpet so they can be part of the Academy Awards RIP montage. |
