I enjoyed it but the best scene is the harassing of the kid who comes to take Martin Lawrence's daughter out. Comedy gold.
I didn't notice it but now that you have mentioned it you are right.

That scene was superb, so funny. I think I may be doing the same when my daughters first boyfriend knocks on the door.

Default Indiana Jones 4...oh no!!!

So, just about to watch Indy and Crystal Skull, again, and it got me thinking. This poor little film receives far more abuse than it actually deserves. Okay, so it does not life up to Raiders, but in reality none of them have, Temple was good and dark but failed in comparison and Last Crusade whilst excellent fun still could not stand tall against its fore bearer. You could criticize it for being too surreal, yet all the Indys have delved into the supernatural and have been all the more enjoyable for it. Perhaps they did overstep the mark a bit with it, but, is that any reason for the dismissal of it into the Indy series? I think not. The characters are fun, it moves at a cracking pace with some excellent set pieces and it is beautiful on the senses. Its not perfect, far from it, the film contains many flaws, but can any of you really say that if it wasn't connected to the Indy films you wouldn't have sat back and enjoyed the roller coaster ride and not quibbled to much. It does what Indy does best, entertains. Watch it for what it is, not what you think or wished it should have been, a summer blockbuster that wants to take you on a journey just for the Hell of making you smile. Watch it like this and you may just find yourself doing so!!!
