im a big gamer, i would describe myself as "hardcore" but i really hate using that term.

Mostly play my 360 the now, follow the industry quite closely.

Put simply, games are the one constant in my life and im always happy to talk about them.

@patrick

What games are you rocking at the moment. Just had the new Madden sent to me and been playing through that.

I pretty much play everything to be honest but after losing my job recently iv been hunting the bargain bins.

Just finished Nier, Dark Void, a few arcade games. Currently playing Silent Hill Homecoming and the very hardcore Wartech:Senko Ronde. Aslo playing me old Snes every day blasting through Konami's golden period. (cybernator, Tiny toon advertures, Axelay, pop and twinbee etc)

I like killing games. Not shooting, like soldier stuff, proper nasty killing.

At the other end of the spectrum, I like the fun racing games like Mario Kart (got it on wii but prefered gamecube for the team racing) and the weird wii games like the surgery one (Trauma centre I think it was called).

Recommend me some games people. On wii or ps2 (I refuse to buy ps3. I love my ps2 too much. I will never desert you old friend!)

You have a PS2? You like nasty killing? If you don't have it already, then Shadow Of Rome is an absolute must-buy of the highest order.

The Onimusha series splits opinion but I personally am a fan. Lots of swords, lots of blood (or green ooze, depending on your preference), just a general neverending stream of ghoulies to slice and dice.

Okami. Just because Okami is incredible. On either PS2 or Wii. Just get Okami if you haven't already.

I might regret saying this but I liked the Silent Hill movie. It really captured the feel of the game and some scenes were really terrifyingand quite shocking.

I would not really class myself as an avid gamer, but perhaps a long-term gamesplayer.

This began in the late 1970's with the old Atari 2600 and then I upgraded to the Commodore 64, Amiga 500, Playstation One, PS2 and ultimately the PC, which I still use. I also own a PS3 and Wii for gaming but the latter is also useful for fitness.
