Default New Games on the Horizon

I dont know how close any of you follow upcoming releases, but here are a few trailers for some games on the way...

Street Fighter X Tekken.

http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/dor/object...=1cdchu88jaoqg

Capcom are making this one, turning the Tekken Chars 2-D, while Namco are making Tekken X Street Fighter, there by making the Street Fighter Chars 3-D.
The Capcom one will no doubt be the better fighter, as Street Fighter is the tighter, more responsive game, but I would be lying if I said I wasnt interested to see if Namco can do what even Capcom cant; And make the SF characters work in 3-D.

Bioshock Infinate (3)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WDQ4FhslSk

I was concerned at first that this was being made by a different dev, but I then learnt that 2K have just changed their name!! I like the new setting, it makes for a change, and the, what looks like, Clockwork Big Daddy could be very interesting.

Vanquish, new game from the loony behind the DMC series.

Gotta say I'm massively looking forward to this, quick run and gun gameplay could be brilliant, and Shinji is yet to make a duff game.

Gran Turismo 5

This will be the greatest racing game made so far, as good as all the contenders are they cant even begin to match the scope and production values, not too mention talent that goes into making these games.

Any thoughts anyone? There are more on the way but I dont want to take up too many pages.

Is there a way to have the video on the page rather than the link? I know its a pain having to mince about with links, its just easier to press play.

Looking forward to Ghost of Sparta, the new God of War game for the PSP, though, I feel I may have OD'd on the Kratos love- in this year.
The next Need For Speed is made by the Burnout guys, so hopefully will be a blast.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Fable III
And, naturally, Fallout: New Vegas, Rock Band 3 and, possibly Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
So, gonna be an expensive one.

I've decided to hold fire with Fallout: New Vegas. Judging by what happened with 3, if I wait a year then a GOTY edition will be released with all the DLC and be a damn sight cheaper than buying each component individually. As it stands each DLC pack for Fallout 3 is about £7.99 each on PSN, whereas you can buy the GOTY edition (with the actual game as well) for under £20, effectively being half the price.

Oh, Yakuza 4 next Spring.

You do know that Kinetic is a loadof old pish? MS themselves are secretly ashamed of it. A recent tech demo showed exactly how duff it is, if you want to play it, you have to make sure there is nobody else in the range of the camera as well as no furniture of any shape or size as the camera cant distinguish whats what. When it was announced MS said it could pick up the hairs on the back of your hand, so far it cant make out the difference between a person and the sofa that was 7 feet behind, and its getting released soon, and its bloody pricey (£130)

Got the Vanquish demo all ready to play, by all accounts it's a friggin' belter.
Not too excited by the rest. Gran Turismo has always left me cold, far too clinical.
I'm shite at beat 'em ups. But will get Marvel Vs. Capcom for me and the nipper.

Man, after playing that demo, Vanquish is definitely on my eventual to-get list. So much fluidity to the shooty business, and some neat tricks to exploit in heated scenarios.
