Just started working my way through all 3 series of The Tudors. Great stuff.

Is that with Jonathan Rhys "Fish Lips" Myers in it? I struggle to watch much t.v. due to my shift patterns. Is it a recommended box set, type deal?

I'm only currently commited to 'Walking Dead' mostly because I know it's only six episodes long.

I'm gravitating towards maybe investigating the series with the angels and stuff in it, agh what's it called? But the more people rave about stuff, the more inclined I am to shy away from it.

Although I got stuck after series 1 of 'Friday night Lights', stupid Region 1 box sets.

I have nothing to fill the void left by 'The Wire' and 'BSG'.

Porkchop, and everybody else in the world for that matter:

Get involved with Dexter starring Michael C. Hall - absolutely outstanding stuff, trust me.

There's 12 episodes per season so it won't take a million years to watch.

The characters are great, John Lithgow in Season 4 - just amazing.....

Dexter is brilliant. It's the best thing I've seen on tv in a long time. The only thing that annoys me about it is that we have to wait so long for it to be shown on UK television. Season 4 has only just been shown here whereas I think in the US they're well into season 5.

'Dexter' is that the one about the serial killer that hunts other serial killers? Hmm maybe, a lot of people also rave about 'Chuck' , but it sounds like tosh to me.

I'm intrigued by 'Deadwood' Liz, but it lasted only a season didn't it? As for Mad Men, my firefly fanboy gland squeezes adrenawin at the mere mention of anything with Christina Hendricks in, but I'm not sure I'm too excited about the idea.

Although I often like things I don't and dislike things I should, does that make sense? No? Good!

I think Deadwood maybe a worthwhile look.

Deadwood had 3 seasons and I gotta say, I loved it.
I struggled with Mad Men for about two thirds of S1 and then it just clicked and it's now my favourite thing to watch. And Christina Hendricks is fab in it!
Did you ever see Rome? That was pretty good. And Entourage?

I just finished Season 1, rather good stuff. Now to power through the rest...

My guilty pleasure at the moment is the Vampire Diaries on ITV2.

Tempted by 'Oz' actually, anyone watched this prison series before? Gritty and real or flashy and 'Prison Break'?

I'm hoping for the former as there's a lot of pre-Wire, 'Wire' actors in the credits, if that makes any sense.

A lot of people were let down by season 2 but in my opinion it's just got better and better with every episode.
