I also love a good Coen Brothers movie, and always have high hopes for whatever project they are working on. I think that thier "serious" movies are almost always spot on, but when they venture into comedic territory it can be a bit hit and miss (more miss than hit actually). So here is my list:

1. The Big Lebowski
2. Barton Fink
3. Blood Simple
4. Fargo
5. No Country For Old Men
6. Millers Crossing
7. Raising Arizona
8. O Brother Where Art Thou

I don't like that Millers Crossing is so far down the list to be honest but it is a list of very high calibre movies in my opinion. Movies that I hold in great esteem.

I've not yet seen A Serious Man, but i have heard many good things and have read some good reviews, so I have high hopes. Really excited about True Grit also.

Default Raising arizona every time for me!

I have not seen many of the Coen Brothers films, although I quite liked FARGO (with the ********** William H Macy) and gangster epic, MILLER'S CROSSING.

My favourite though has to be RAISING ARIZONA just for the sheer strangeness of it all. Oh, and Holly Hunter looks good in police uniform...

I like, or love in some cases, most of their films. Its probably better to mention the ones I dont like at all, The Lady Killers and Intolerable Cruelty, I couldnt belive either one was a Coen film, very odd.

My fave is Lebowski, for too many reasons to list here.

The Coen brothers are undoubtedly talented. But some of their films I just didnt get. My favourite one of theirs is O' Brother Where Art Thou. it's just a classic.

Their worst for me was Burn After Reading. Did not get that at all.
