I walked out of the film Pandorum (I think it was called that).
I sat through about 40 minutes with some friends, in which we all quitely kept to ourselves how incredible bored we were... until we noticed eachother falling asleep and decided to walk out together.
It's honestly one of the worst pieces of filmmaking I've ever seen, closely followed by the Fantastic Four Sequel, which I walked out of by myself, only to realise that my ride home was still inside the screen, I had to return so I guess that doesn't really count.

Walked out of The Dark Knight Rises at Genesis Cinema, Whitechapel, London.

Nothing wrong with the film, but their soundsystem is fried, voices don't carry over the surround sound system and it's very difficult to understand what anyone is saying.

Went to see it at Stratford Picture House same day - much better!

I've come close to walking out a fair few times, most recently with Prometheus.

But to date, I've never done so.

Walked out of Superfly in 1972 ....and, to be honest, if it wasn`t for all the money I`d spent, I would have walked out of The Dark Knight Rises (I realise I might be in a minority here )

I never walked out of a movie, but I came thisclose with Reign of Fire.

Unfortunately it was a preview, so getting caught sneeking out might have resulted in me not getting invited in the future, so we stuck it out.

Default The Spirit

There have been a few where I would have walked out if I hadn't been the 'designated driver' for a group of people; most memorably the Jackson remake of King Kong - probably the worst CGI and most unbelievable character 180 in any film, ever.
But the only film to actually get me to leave mid-movie? The Spirit - trying SO HARD to be Sin City, but ending up just shitty. If ever a scene encapsulated the quality of a film it was the one in which Samuel L Jackson's bad guy hits the spirit over the head with a toilet!

Utter, Utter drivel. I gave it 45 minutes.

I walked out of the paul Newman movie Hombre years ago.
Later I thought it was a very good movie. I guess I thought it was a bit slow.
If I had been watching Battlefield Earth in the cinema instead of at home, I might have walked out on that. Instead I just stopped watching it.

Gonna have to disagree with you there - I've watched The Core about 10 times now and I LOVE IT! Yes it's total cheese but what's wrong with that?

The only film I have walked out of was Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. I wasn't feeling great anyway which I assumed was why I wasn't enjoying it. About half way through, my husband who had forced me to watch it after having raved about the first one, turned to me and said "I really can't take much more of this crap - lets go!"
