Nope, fall asleep yes (Sphere), but I couldnt walk out.
And to the original post, when we went to see We Are What We Are, we were the only two in the cinema. And we enjoyed it, and having the small screen to ourself. (A perfect example of why there's smaller screens and more of them now, can't always have sold out cinema screens) I was in a sold out screening of 'Buried' and some guys down in front of us played games on their mobiles all the way through. This is why i like front and centre seating, so I dont have the rest of the audience bugging the B-Jesus outta me. For Be Kind Rewind, I wanted it to end, but I couldnt walk out or fall asleep, or let on I didnt like it at least a little bit cause I didnt buy the ticket. |

I walked out of Solaris with George Clooney, it was so boring I almost fell asleep.
Be Kind Rewind and Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull were 2 films that I almost walked out of but some how made it through to the end. |

Whilst having a Cineworld card means I do not have the guilt of paying for a ticket to keep me in the cinema, I have always found something redeeming in every film (around 70 a year) that I sit through.
The one exception? The 51st State. I have no idea why. I am sure it is not the worst thing ever made ( hell, it's probably not even the worst thing Sam Jackson has been in) but there was something about the cinema, my mood, the incessant and pointless swearing, the awful over-acting, that made me either want to rip my arm of so I could have something to throw at the screen or leave the cinema. Luckily, in the long term anyway, I decided on the latter. |

Never actually walked out of a movie but if I didn't need a lift home I would happily have left Superman 4, Batman Forever and The Matrix: Reloaded.

American Gigolo and Moonstruck. Halfway through Avatar I wanted to leave but the wife insisted on seeing it until the end.

Oh yes, Les Patterson Saves The World....can't remember but I think it was around the herpes gag (and I use the word advisedly) mark.

I too try to avoid walking out on a movie, with the slim hope that the ending may be so bloody brilliantly clever or have an amazing twist that I'd be gutted to miss it having paid for the ticket.
The exception was House of 1000 Corpses, however to be totally honest I had just watched another movie and snuck into the late night showing on my way out, so the fact I hadn't paid (don't judge me, I bet you've all done it!) made my decision that much easier! |

Twice, Tombstone (but I was on a promise) and The Da Vinci Code. I thought I'd see it to the end but realised there was still another 45 minutes to go... awful film

yes I nearly walked out of Star Trek : nemesis, for the following reasons.
1. the plot was dragging, the explainations of the how and why. 2. the tedious "wrath of Khan" undertones throughout the film . 3. Data(B4) and Picards sing off. 4. you now have an ally in the Romulan Empire. |
