I can usually sit through just about any film ever made with the following exceptions....

1. Shank - rubbish
2. Being John Malkovic - rubbish
3. Cape Fear - The rape scene sent my over the edge

Robin Hood (the rubbish one last year). It may have been one of the most boring viewing experiences of my life, and I've watched a lot of Wim Wenders films.

walked out of the Flintstones - the big question was why I paid for a ticket to see it in the first place. I nearly walked out of Jumpers but kept thinking it would improve - how wrong I was.

I went to see the King's Speech t'other day and a couple of people walked out of that. Being as they spent the whole film up to that point talking, it was a relief.

I have been with people who have walked out of Reservoir Dogs and The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, but I lasted the distance.

Would rather walk than waste my time I think...

Talking I think I've walked out once...

...and I was very upset with myself for leaving. I'm exactly the kind of person who doesn't like to pay top dollar for a movie unless I've convinced myself (after dubious) research that it will be a great film. Sometimes I've fooled myself too well, and had to lie in the bed I've made. The majority of times I tend to be very pleased with my film of choice. I walked out once. I can't remember what the movie was but I do remember that it wasn't totally my decision to leave. My significant other was even more upset with how awful the movie was and so we joined in a two person walk out. I HAVE been forced to sit through some awful ones only because I didn't have a ride. My family used to make events out of movies that THEY liked to watch despite my reasonable protests that we should just rent those movies. Movies such as Miami Vice, and 2 Fast 2 Furious. Both of them were someone's birthday wish to watch...and of course I had to pay to see a movie I didn't want to see.

I think the only way to resolve from wanting to walk out of a movie is simply to do your research. Sometimes our decisions our purely emotional and when you make a decision like that you're gonna have to eat your cake and SWALLOW your pride. But movies that you want to see even after all that research, you can't justify walking out of the theater. The best thing you can do is trash the movie on your blog post-puking. I promise you'll feel better afterwards.

I worked in the local cinema for years and there has only ever been one film that I walked out on. Considering all the crap I sat through it took something really special for me to walk out on. and that film?

Camp (2003)

there were only about 6 others in the screen and they all followed me out.

Mine wasn't so much walk out - but slowly dying inside a little bit at a time... Mission to Mars!

I hadn't realised that Mars was made of cheese!

Not that I object to cheesy movies, but this one really took the 'biscuit' (haha). It was cheese, upon cheese, upon cheese - the whole experience was like drowning in a vat of fondue.

Why did Tim Robbins' character go on a suicide mission when all he had to do was hold on to the rope (derp!) was bad enough but when ET and his friends turn up at the end....and we find out that the human race are the Martians ancestors.... bloody hell - pass the barf bucket!!

I'm so glad that CSI:New York put Gary Sinise back on the right track.

Lost in Space and The Crow 2.

Both absolute shockers. When the little kid was trying to describe 'love' to the robot, the empty popcorn bucket almost had another use...
