Unhappy

Leon gets me every time, my girlfriend watched it with me for the first time on Saturday and we both sat there crying at the end when she's buried the plant and then Stigs shape of my heart kicks in. I also cry like a bitch at The Green Mile.

Not full on tears, but a definate lump (oo-er) at the end of Planes, Trains and Automobiles the realisation we share with Neil, Dels still trying to not impose, and finally his happy, smiley face at the end. Lump. Throat. In. The.

No film makes me cry, but I find Creation, the Charles Darwin story to be very affecting and sad. A superb performance from Bettany, should have been Oscar nominated but for some reason the film was virtually ignored. It doesn't fit the comic book superhero landscape.

For some reason I always get choked when watching Rocky II. The training, when he's running through the streets with all the kids running behind him.

Good shout, or, well, upset shout. I always forget about that bit.

@K, I saw Creation a few weeks ago and couldn't agree more. In fact my predominant thought after the film was exactly, as you say, how the hell did he not get an oscar? Also, why, until now, has it been ignored that he didnt. I will allow Bettany to be in pap like Priest and Leigon when he can do things like Creation.
