the only time I have ever seen my dad cry was the ending of Million Dollar Baby. Me and my mum were sobbing for the last 20 minutes then I looked over at daddy dearest and he had joined in with some weeping too!

There are three that always bring tears to my eyes:
1. A Very Long Engagement - after searching for years, Mathilde finally finds her lost love, Manech, and he has lost his memory and doesn't know her. So she sits "....and looks at him, and looks at him, and looks at him......"
2. The Cider House Rules - Homer finishes reading to the boys in their dormitory, and as he leaves he turns in the doorway and says "Goodnight, you princes of Maine, you kings of New England."
3. Mrs Palfrey At The Claremont - Ludo sings For All We Know to Mrs Palfrey.
Three of my favourite movie moments.

please don't remind me of that although at the end, it does say he will return. The one I remember bawling my eyes out at was The Boy Who Could Fly. God knows why...!

I'm generally considered stoneheart as I never really cry at movies (apparently I should have cried at P.S. I Love You. Really? REALLY?!)

However, anytime someone is mean to Anthony Hopkins I sob. Literally. Something about him reminds me of my dad.

Legends of the Fall is the worst. When he has the stroke? Literally inconsolable for about 20 minutes.

Grave of the Fireflies most definitely. Then I thought I was doing ok, until I saw the final scene of Toy Story 3. That took an iron will not to break down a little.

That bit in Caspar is a kicker. Very, very sad for a 'kids' movie.
