Default Xbox 360

I play my 360 a lot. Usually only the big blockbusters

Who is looking forward to the Halo and Splinter Cell movies?

I think they will be great when it is all released. TotalFilm should feature game movies because it appeals to a wide range of people, ecspecially the young talented!!

my Gamertag is Razielxbox

i thought Halo got cancelled because the budget peter jackson asked for was way too much.

splinter cell movie would be good though.

Considering that virtually every single film of a game has either sucked or blown - usually both, I'd rather see TF cover filmic games, eg GTAIV, Fallout 3, Bioshock and the like, than games of films. Even though, you know, its a film magazine...

It is at the moment but I reckon it's only a matter of time before it's made

Technically, Halo hasn't been cancelled, but I'm pretty sure Development Hell would be an appropriate term.
I tend to hold out hope for video game films, but really, 90% of them so far have been bad choices. We're only just at a point now where I would give a film-maker a video game and say "This is worth adapting." because video games are such a new movement in entertainment that it's taken time for them to develop to a point where plot means something. The recent games such as Bioshock, Assassin's Creed or Prince of Persia (actually, that film could be good) would really lend themselves better to the big screen than Silent Hill ever would (I mean really, the idea of Silent Hill is to be isolated and immersed and that doesn't work if I'm watching somebody wander around, instead of controlling them, and in a cinema instead of hiding under my bed)

Default Halo Film?! Surely Not!

There's a halo film coming out?

Oh FFS! I played those games and sold them off the second I was finished with them, as far as FPS go their **** poor at best.

Am I the only one who sees that its the same thing going on in the game all the time, surely not! If your looking for a FPS that wont bore the ******** off you check out Fallout 3, Dark Athena, Half-life 2 or to a lesser extent Call of Duty 4.

With games that monotonus the film will suck giant monkey balls!

Just my personal opinion!

My Xbox 360 died a red ring induced death a few months back, it had had a good innings and was used mainly as a very noisy DVD player.

I don't miss it, the only game I probably would have bought would have been 'Fable 3', couldn't even drum up enough interest to play 'Mass Effect 2'. I think I'm just growing out of games.

With work and a punishing gym routine I don't have a lot of downtime to sink a few hours into a game. I was contemplating a PS3 along the lines I could justify it even from a Blu Ray angle.

But I'm planning a one year working trip to New Zealand, so I couldn't take it with me, so it seems a bit pointless, so in the end I, erm, bought nothing.

I would like a crack at Halo Reach, who's the funky Spartan with a skull painted on his helmet? Funky.

That being said a new game scripted by John Milius, 'Homefront' about a 'Red Dawn' esque invasion and subsequent militia based defence of the US for the new year sounds awesome.

Playable 'Red Dawn'? What's not to love? That may tempt to invest in a console again. Who knows.

WOLLLLLVVVERRRIIINEEES!
