Two weeks? Bloody hell (very bad Rupert Grint impression) After me telling you you'd not get called up and just a couple of days off work. Oh well at least it was more enjoyable than you thought it would be.

I had a 3 day case last week and a 3 day this week, rest of the time just sitting about having a laugh with the other jurers. Got to have a lay in everyday as I didn't have to be there until 10.30am, not looking forward to getting up and 5am for work next week.

I didn't know they could put you on more than one case. So be honest. Would you have preferred to have done it or not done it? Have I missed out on an exciting new jury experience and fun courtroom shenanigans?

There is 5 court rooms at the court where I was based so they had cases going on all the time. Some people were not picked for the whole two weeks and just sat there everyday doing nothing. There must have been about 50 jurers and I like to mingle and chat so it was quite interesting meeting different people of different ages. One minute I was with a group of women talking about big fat gypsy weddings, the next I was with a group of blokes talking about football....working the room

I didn't want to do it but now that I have I would do it again.

For those who can't be bothered clicking: Guy goes to the races, buys a £2 ticket and comes away with £1.4 million.

Quote:
The massive win came on the day of his partner Jill's 53rd birthday but despite the big win Whiteley said he would not be buying her a present.

"I'm not getting her a present now - I've already got her a 65p card," said the father of two from North Tawton, Devon.
What a fricken cheapskate. Some people so don't deserve their good luck.

Well, here's 1001. I didn't notice I'd posted so much. My hours at work have been ridiculously cut down so I've had a lot of time to kill the past couple of months even after job hunting and watching films. Ancient and Morris aren't far behind

Haha! I just looked at the forum stats. That's nearly a twelfth of ALL the posts on the forum. Sorry for taking up so much of your time
