Is anyone even slightly interested in Scream 4? It's a film that I really don't care about at all. I want to see Insidious. I finally saw Devil last night. It was alright but bordered on boring.
*** Here's a link to Total Film's 3 star review of Scream 4. Added by Liz. Thanks. *** Last edited by Lizhawkins; 09-05-2011 at 09:51 PM. |

I know that Scream 4 has Alison Brie in it. That there is enough incentive for me to see it.

I have absolutely no interest though. I liked a couple of the previous films and it's one of the more important horror franchises of the past couple of decades but any time I see news or trailers for it, I just give them a miss.

I'll be catching it in an hour, I'll post my opinion later.
Keep in mind that I'm generally not a fan of the Scream series, or of most of Craven's output. |

Don't bother. Watch the opening online, feel all dirty inside for how it somehow got made, and then never look back.
At least the one thing I was interested in the film for (Alison Brie) was very entertaining. But she plays an atypical horror role straight, which makes for depressing thinking, that the most enjoyable part of the film is a trope it doesn't incessantly acknowledge. |

I quite enjoyed it! Nowhere near as good as the first one, but I thought it was better than 2 and 3. (Not that being better than 3 is much to boast about mind you...)
