MONDAY - FRIDAY: I can tolerate slow-burn dramas and "worthy" crap. That's how I've managed to slog through your Von Trier's, etc.

I'm curious. How come you can tolerate 'worthy crap' on the week days but not the weekend? For me, what with working and looking after a baby, watching almost anything on a week day is a struggle. To get through a film, no matter how entertaining, I usually have to pump myself full of coffee.

Over weekends, after a hard week at the office, I don't have the endurance for anything heavy. I just want to relax, have a laugh and watch light popcorn fare. Simple.

And I wish I could watch one movie every night but I mostly watch anything heavy on a Tuesday. I don't know why really - maybe its OCD or maybe I hate Mondays. I dunno.

There's a few I can't watch but the worst has to be Hairspray, hate it with a passion, terrible film, terrible songs - makes me angry just thinking about it.

Not much love for Grease either and the vast majority of chick-flicks.

Give me a good zombie film any day
