I went to see this film last evening. It was tenderly done with an excellent performance from the leading actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Although I expect many people will disagree, I found Seth Rogen's character tiresome and way over the 'top', accepting that he would be shocked by his best friend's news.

I saw it a couple of hours ago and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, despite starting off essentially playing the same character as he did in "(500) Days of Summer", was excellent in the last half of the film - the car scene and the anasthesia (sp?) scene in particular really got me. Giacchino's music was excellent and emotional as always, even if Seth Rogen's character was irritating and quite one-dimensional, I'll be honest. Not an easy film to watch by any means, but worth the emotions stirred up!

Surprised to find myself disagreeing but I found Rogen not too bad in this, and he normally really gets on my tits. Packs a real emotional punch with good performances all round.
