Default Iron Man 3

Total Film has given this film 4 stars.

Funny, twisty and thrilling, this is shellhead’s most entertaining solo flight to date. It’s also an impressive pace-setter for this summer’s barrage of big movies.

Here's a link to Total Film's 4 star Iron Man 3 review.

3 stars at best, but that would only be for RDJ and the special effects. I really don't know why they hired Shane Black for this film, he has turned it into a comedy with action and don't even get me started with the Mandarin...what a waste of a Marvel villain.

It was an improvement on the second one but not half as good as the first. It's not short of explosions, special effects, action and huge set pieces but still manages to lack the awe and wonder of the first Iron Man or Thor films. I'm not a big fan of Avengers Assemble anymore either
Like the Avengers film this just seems a bit hollow and pointless. When the film was finished I was left with the feeling that it is a film that I will probably never see again. And I'm perfectly happy with that. Entertaining enough but instantly forgettable. 2.5/5

So you are reviewing the trailers then?

Anyway. Watched iron man 3 last night. I enjoyed it. Million times better than number 2. Good start to the summer season

I liked it, but the thing that does bother me a bit is that Iron Man 1-3 is not really a trilogy in the sense that stylistically those are three stand alone movies. I'm curious if it is going to be the same with Thor and Captain America.

Personally, I loved what they did with the Mandarin because it rendered the entire discussion about the character not being politically correct anymore or a Brit being cast instead of a Chinese actor absurd. And yay for the Yinsen appearance.
