Default TV headsup thread

I hate realising the next day that I've missed something I really wanted to see on TV. This thread is for forumites to give each other advance warning of any TV shows or films in the TV listings they think might be of interest to others. Date, time and channel too.

First up ( at quite short notice) the new series of South Park on Comedy Central tonight at 10pm. It's the Human CentiPad episode.

That's very short notice; it's already started. Recording it anyway. Thanks Jeff.

Sorry about the short notice. I didn't even know it was on till quarter to ten.

The Warriors-Sunday 8th- 1am-SkyMoviesAction(HD)

If you have HDTV I recommend you watch it. The transfer they're showing is unbelievable. It looks like it was made yesterday.

Great little episode, stroke of genius from Matt & Trey.
Brilliant idea for a thread biscuits, we've been needing this for a while. I'll be using it to point out anything good.

This will be a good thread but it should chiefly be used for advance notice of films, film-related programmes or documentaries and special one-off features.

Please use the General Telly thread to discuss things which have already screened, can be caught on iPlayer or are regular TV series, some of these have their own threads. Thanks.

Serenity-Thursday 12th-9pm-ITV4(+HD)
Really enjoyable science fiction adventure worth a watch even if you're unfamiliar with the Firefly tv series.

Bad Lieutenant-Friday 13th-10pm-Sky Movies Premiere(+HD)

Hey guys,

Digital Spy is a good site for getting start dates for season premieres and the like:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/...s-the-plp.html

Another useful tool, if you have it, is Sky Never Miss. If anyone doesn't have Sky, you can always PM me or post here and I'll add your favourite programmes to my list.

Society is on the horror channel tonight (18th) I think at about half 10 or 11. A film I've always wanted to see.

I can recommend giving it a go, but be warned that some nasty moments will hang around in your memory forever.

Castle of Cagliostro-Film4-Tuesday 24th-5.05pm

It might be 30 years old, but it still has all the charm and beauty of modern works from Studio Ghibli and it's a great adventure story too.
