I saw The Hitcher when I was quite young, maybe 11 or 12, and Rutger Hauer scared the CRAP out of me at that age.
More recently, Natalie Portman in Black Swan terrified me...I didn't sleep for a couple of days after that one. But then I'm a bit weird when it comes to films scaring, but hey, that's me! |

Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Saw it when I was about 13 and it gave me nightmares.

Brian Cox scared the living bejesus out of me. Due to his calm demeanor and seriously sinister undertone ("Dream much, Will"), I found him far scarier than Anthony Hopkins.

He might have fit the bill just as well - calm demeanor and sinister undertones... Last edited by Kiba.; 21-06-2012 at 09:06 PM. Reason: hot-linked pic removed |

Linda Blair in The Exorcist. STILL freaks me out, decades later. A babysitter let me watch this when I was eight years old. My parents were furious (and I was wigged out for life).

Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs, like seriously, I'd rather have Hannibal Lecter convincing me to death than him dancing and talking in front of my eyes
