Finally, some sort of evolution to Seth MacFarlane's brand of domestic comedy, that in all honesty, was surprisingly good.

A quirky, modern rethinking of a popular fairytale trope; that of an inanimate object being imbued with life. You can imagine it was perhaps spawned by MacFarlane's desire to scrape the bottom of the barrel and find a character more innocent than Family Guy's Stewie to shock with his lewd and base humour, but whatever the reason, it works.

Yes the humour is often low, it borders on racist, sexist and all the other '-ists' and is almost always politically incorrect. However, it is heightened with some genuine wit and visual humour, and much like the comedy of South Park, often results in a sense of catharsis when enjoying such controversial humour.

It's unlikely viewers will be hugely surprised by the content, it won't win any awards but it is refreshing after all the other 'comedies' I've seen so far this year.

Absolutely loved Ted. I had high expectations when viewing the trailers. As a big Family Guy fan I was excited to see what Ted was going to bring to the table. And after viewing it, I was not at all let down. It was brilliant. Although I have heard some disappointed reactions which surprises me. Guess its not everyone's cup of tea but was most certainly mine!

I enjoyed it - basically if you like Family Guy you should enjoy this. Few cameos I didn't know about that were enjoyable.
