Default Maniac

I've never seen the original Maniac film so I have no idea whether this is an improvement. It is a decent enough film though. Elijah Wood does well at channeling a socially awkward Norman Bates-like character who suffers severe migraines and hallucinates a lot. This is an achievement considering he's only actually on screen for a few minutes, the film being largely shot from his pov.
No real scares, but one or two tense scenes, some yucky moments and a decent turn from Wood. 3/5
