I don't know why so many people are asking other people to answer or 'give opinions' on questions for their college work....work it out for yourselves...

Here, here. Having your homework done via film discussion forum is pathetic. With the internet, research is a snap - you shouldn't have to bother people so they can spoon feed you answers or directions to answers.

It might also be useful to watch "The Green Berets"(I think) with John Wayne, as it was made in 68 whilst the war was still going, and is an example of how hollywoods views on the war progressed as time went by.

Cool Help Me With My Critical Research...?

Hi, I'm a 17 year old Media Studies student from the UK and I was wondering if you could help me with my primary research.

My hypothesis is: "Have the ruling conventions of 'Rites of passage' films been consistantly and influentially offered by figures from world cinema?"

I realize this is a stupidly open question but any thoughts you may have will be EXTREMELY helpful to me

look forward to hearing from you

Default Movies with Dolls

Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help. I am currently writing a dissertation on the changing image of the doll in contemporary art and want to include film. After extensive research I have found that there seems to be only 2 genres of film that tackle dolls....Horror and Kid's movies. I am trying to find films that have a focus on dolls but not from either of these points of view....can anyone suggest a few things for me to look at?
Many thanks for you help...it's much appreciated

There's a Japanese movie called Dolls which tells 3 different love stories and was inspired by the traditional Japanese doll theater.

Rita Hayworth in Gilda has the most immaculately shaved armpits of any femme fatale, if that helps.
