Default TF Issue 206: Naomi Watts Expert, Forum mentions

I know you probably have a limited word count for your articles, but how can a filmography of Naomi Watts totally fail to mention a mesmerising performance in The Painted Veil? Her own flawless understated acting of a largely unsympathetic character draws the audience in so that her pain and passions are felt. The whole film is a delight aesthetically with Edward Norton and Toby Jones amazing in their key roles. Of course this film is also the most important film in Watts's life, as it was here she met the love of her life and father of her children Liev Schreiber. Schreiber's verbal seduction of Kitty Fane at the Chinese opera is possibly one of the most deliciously sensual renditions of a womanising cad ever to hit the screen. So all in all, at least a small mention of the film would have seemed in order don't you think.
