I felt Sean Connery was the best Bond.
Pierce Brosan was my second favourite Bond he was charming he was subtle and he looked the part of Bond he could also play the cold side of Bond.Pierce also brought dramatic tension to the role of Bond. |

I have to agree 100%. Fleming added the Scottish background only after he saw Connery play Bond. So, Brosnan, even with the slight Irish brogue, WAS Bond.
Two things though. One, I have this on-going discussion on whether Clive Owen should have replaced him instead of Daniel Craig. The other thing is that I wonder, if we will be around when new Directors take on re-makes of the entire catalogue! in 3D!! |

Owen is OK in a smaller franchise, I can't see him without something on his face (stubble, glasses, a tashe) so he's never going to make a Bond.
He would make a good Bond villain though... |

If I were a casting director, I wouldn't cast a former Bourne baddie in a Bond movie.

Plus the fact that Owen can only play Owen. He doesn't exactly have a wide range of expressions.

My comment sounds a lot more negative in the magazine than I wanted it to, all six Bond's are Bond. Which I think is a huge compliment.
